A nicely written and beautifully illustrated account of the Scheide Library at Princeton through some of the earliest printed fragments and books in the collection.

A slim new volume in the "Galileo's O" series, in which many of the conclusions in the first two volumes are undercut by the revelations that the copy of Sidereus Nuncius in question is a modern forgery. Many of the contributions here are fascinating and well drawn, though I admit I found Horst Bredekamp's "final thoughts" somewhat unsatisfying.

A lavishly-illustrated and excellently-written catalog to accompany an exhibition of some of the marvelous bindings in the Morgan Library. Well worth a close look.
