For my first review for the 801 Manga Moveable Feast, which is dedicated to boys' love/yaoi material, I thought I'd look at . . . an English language web comic? Manners, Sarah! Still, I think this OEL M/M sci-fi web comic turned to print is definitely worth highlighting during the 801 MMF. It's an excellent story populated by three-dimensional characters in a fascinating futuristic world that begs for further exploring.

Loved it. It ended exactly were it needed to end. Plus the author's FAQ was a nice touch. Deacon and Jeff deserve a HEA, glad they made theirs.

I read a recommendation for this comic in some blog and decided to give it a try. I am pleasantly surprised by it.

An android soldier is sent to eliminate everyone in a colony but he decides to spare the live of a young man. Eventually the corporation that sent him there founds them and the soldier is sent to a psychologist who will try to discover why he spared this man's life and why did he kill part of the retrieval team.

The story touches some very interesting issues regarding humanity and the relationship with AIs and with everything that's different, read LGBT issues. In this regard the exchanges between the soldier and the psychologist are the better part of the story and really well done.

I will definitely read something more from this author.
