No Easy Day: The Only First-hand Account of the… by Mark Owen
An excellent, well written account of what Navy Seals experience in training as well as several of their combat missions. An ex Seal himself, the author writes his own memoir but does so in such a way as to take the reader right along with him as if you were also on his combat missions. The highlight of the book was his description of the raid that killed Osama bin Ladin. He was on the helicopter that crashed into the wall nearly killing the crew. If you want the scoop on that raid, from the viewpoint of a participant, you can’t go wrong with this exciting memoir.… (more)
