This story continues of the three sisters as they are all in different parts of the world toward the last part of the war. Very exciting parts and I had a hard time putting the book down even though I've read it before. There is more violence in this book as people are tortured and put into prison camps. Nothing too graphic but sad to read.

I've read this book a few times but the last time was many years ago. It's the first in a four book series that starts in 1941 during WW2. It's about three sisters Cameron, Blair and Jackie who live in Beverly Hills California. Their father is a newspaper mogul who wanted sons and does not have a good relationship with any of his daughters. Cameron is the oldest and she's a reporter who wants to go to Russia to cover the war. Blair wants to be an actress and loves the parties and glamour of Hollywood. Jackie is at UCLA and wants to be a teacher.
The book follows all three of the daughters although it seems to focus more on Cameron. I'm not super interested in Russia so I found at times that her story dragged ever so slightly. The book is well written and although there is some romance I never felt like it was the main story.
The book is so interesting with so many things happening. I quite enjoyed it.
There are a few minor content issues. Some light sexual language implied but nothing graphic. Drinking, an affair, some war violence.
I would really recommend this series.
