Newly familiar with this painter and love quite a few in his collection, mostly for the doleful (and soulful) expressions he creates in his young ladies . These are just postcards and I wish they were larger.

Some favorites:
The Shepherdess, 1889
The Knitting Girl, 1869
Rest in Harvest, 1865
Evening Mood, 1882
The Bohemian, 1890
Temptation, 1880
The Broken Pitcher, 1891

32 images of women who made a positive difference. They are, by the way, the most beautiful women one can ever hope to see -- Helen Keller, Winnemucca, Marian Anderson, etc. Most are Americans, but Marie Curie, Tereshkova, Kahlo, Indira Ghandi, and Helen Caldicott are included.

A concise guide to all things chocolate. It contains information about cultivating and harvesting cacao; chocolate manufacturing processes and labor issues; major types of chocolate; chocolate's traditional uses and history; chocolate and health; and tips on judging, storing, and serving chocolate. These 48 cards will make you a true connoisseur of chocolate. Research suggests a scientific basis for chocolate's pleasure inducing properties in its high levels of antioxidants and its ability to stimulate endorphins and serotonin. [ttk/06@dillards]… (more)
