This book was an okay read for one who is bored and needs something to pass the time.

Erotica with a bit of a plot. More plot than usual. Lilly and Dante's romance is sweet and sexy - and happens way too fast but about what you expect from these sorts of reads. That said, it was actually pretty funny and had a decent story line too about forced mating to save the pack and jealous lovers. The world building itself could've used some work - the way shifter packs worked was only briefly mentioned - and it would've been nice to have more detail. The ending was rather abrupt - I think another chapter or two would've rounded it off nicely but it was a very enjoyable read. 3.5 stars, rounded to 4 cause it made me smile.… (more)

Okay. Wow. I grabbed this book more than two years ago at Fictionwise. For some reason, it kept dropping down in the TBR pile (possibly because I discovered Michelle Marquis at the same time). Now, all this time, I thought it was just a smutfest wrapped in a little story. Not that that would be a problem, because I read plenty of those. I just wasn't expecting what it actually turned out to be.

Griff is a man who is also a cat (of sorts), and he's the familiar of a witch that doesn't actually know that she's a witch. They've been in love with each other (and hiding it) for years, neither of them knowing that when they finally have sex, it will start a zombie apocalypse.

The story is really good, the sex is HOTTER THAN HELL, and the characters are awesome. In certain parts, it's a real tearjerker. But there is a HEA, which also made me cry. This was a great book.

Smut report: Shifters, menage, anal, magical fantasy fulfillment

I liked the idea of the product that was being developed. The steamy interactions between the characters minimized the character development and plot, slightly.
