An easy to read atlas for young children. Maps include some geographical features such as mountain ranges and/or bodies of water. Some cultural aspects of Canada and its provinces are included. A useful "What is a Map" and "How do I Use an Atlas" section at the beginning.

The Children's Atlas of Canada is aimed at younger children (age 6 and up) and Scholastic has succeeded in providing an engaging and accessible guide to Canada. All included maps are lively, with a solid selection of geographic and cultural facts presented in a visually playful way. The overall design of the atlas is attractive and easily browsable.
