"...it’ll just be another secret to keep, another lie to tell."

wow, Sutton in all her glory. It's great to see who and what she was before Emma stepped in.

What a web of lies we weave when we practice to deceive. Sutton was in deep. It's probably better that Emma had no clue when she stepped in.

and now we know why another boy is just as lost when Emma stepped in.

On to more Lies and more games!

"You might be fooling some, but you're not fooling me."

I love author Sara Shepard. She writes great female friendships and the drama that can be laced within them. This story is about friendships - how they can be good or they can be toxic. How it can be hard to start making new friends in your 20's.

The story has dual timelines - so there's a story of before a story of now. Now, they are older - with significant others and kids. Previously, they are new friends to new co-workers. It's a few friendships and it takes a minute to see how they all fit together.

This story did reach a point, however, where I had to suspend my disbelief but I just didn't things would work that way. But it was a nice mystery, an interesting look into these friendships and fun twists and turns.

A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

First off, I love this cover. It's so gorgeous and plays well in to the story. Now, when I first stared the story, I wasn't 100% sure this book and I were going to get along. I didn't feel pulled in or understand the story. But pretty quickly, the first twist happens and then I was interested.

There were a lot of questions I had a long the way and, thankfully, they were answered. I didn't love the love story in this one, didn't feel completely immersed in the story, but I did find the story entertaining and found myself wanting to know the answers. The end was satisfying and adorable.

A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.

I have a special spot in my heart for [a:Sara Shepard|93970|Sara Shepard|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1229580414p2/93970.jpg]. I love Pretty Little Liars and The Lying Game. So I was pretty excited when I spotted this new one.

And I loved it. I like that you have Lauren, Ronnie and Andrea's each separate POV. It helped give us the whole story and give more clues. I loved each girl separately for what they brought to the story and their own struggles. I love how they found each other (spiking the drinks was hilarious!) and I love how they found a friendship in the midst of all the craziness.

I thought the bad guy was a little obvious but I didn't mind going through the story. I did find a lot of the ending a surprise though - and the twists I didn't see coming. It's almost set up like there could be more story here and, if there was, I would definitely read it. I love these three!!

A huge thank you to the author and publisher for providing an e-ARC via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion regarding the book.
