This is the biography of an unremarkable, remarkable man. Sully was an Air Force fighter pilot flying F-4D Phantoms…that’s kind of remarkable. He holds an Airline Transportation Pilot Certificate…that’s like being one person 1 in 2000. He piloted U.S. Airways airliners for 30 years. He’s been married to Lorrie for 34 years. And Sully landed his Airbus 320 in the Hudson River six minutes after take-off from LaGuardia Airport when both engines were disabled by a flock of geese…and not one person died.
