*Mission Possible* by Tim Tebow: A Review in the Spirit of Psalm 119:9-18

How can a young person keep their way pure?
By walking according to Your word, O Lord.
With all my heart I seek You; let me not stray from Your commandments.
I have hidden Your word in my heart, that I might not sin against You.
Praise be to You, O Lord; teach me the way of purpose and truth.
Tebow’s words inspire me to live with meaning,
to move from old to new, from dead to alive,
as I step into the mission You have set before me.

Your call, Lord, beckons me to leave behind the old ways:
the disorder, the forgetfulness, the defiance of those You placed in my life.
No longer will I hold onto anger or bitterness,
for in Your love, I find the strength to forgive and let go.
Through Tebow’s wisdom, I am reminded
that I am a new creation, walking in joy and peace.
Alive in You, O God, I live with purpose,
letting go of sin and embracing righteousness.

The chains of the past no longer bind me,
for I am not a slave to the opinions of others.
I am Your daughter, chosen and free,
and in Your freedom, I am filled with joy every day.
Tebow’s words guide me from bondage to freedom,
from darkness to light, as I embrace the mission You have given me.
Out of my struggles, I rise strong,
and through Your light, I am inspired to share my story.

Lost but now found, I have discovered my voice in poetry,
writing to inspire others, to uplift those overlooked by the world.
In this mission, I find my purpose,
for You have created me to live with meaning.
Tebow reminds me that my worth is found in You,
and my message has value because of who lives inside me.
I am significant, and my work has meaning,
as I walk in the truth of Your love.

Your love has opened my eyes to the hurt in the world,
and my heart bleeds for those who suffer.
I align my soul with what matters to You,
understanding that true success is found in significance.
Each day, I live with purpose,
grateful for the journey You have set before me.
In Tebow’s words, I see the reflection of Your call,
and I am reminded that with You, O Lord, all things are possible.

Blessed am I when I live in Your truth,
for my mission is not only possible but divinely appointed.

This book ticked off all the boxes for me and my personal interests: inspirational, Christian, interesting, and easy to read. It can be read a chapter at a time, or devoting the whole day to reading the whole book. I was amazed at how much Tim Tebow has accomplished, and is still accomplishing. Not in the sports world. I am not much of a sports fan. But he is really reaching people for Christ in the spiritual realm. He gets to go so many places and do so many things for others!

Okay, so I knew I would have mixed feelings about this book and sure enough....

Pros:
A very sweet story about embracing your differences. A dog who needs glasses. A goat who has allergies. A clumsy bunny. What seems like an odd group of characters is ideal for teaching children everyone brings something to the table.

The illustrations are by Jane Chapman. Who writes the Bear books (Bear Wants More....yeah that one). Dying to know how she scored this one.

Cons:
Once again, celebrities really shouldn't write books. I'm sorry Tim. But I really feel as if he has cashing in on his popularity (bordering on selling out).....and wow, he cannot write for children. The dialogue was stilted and at times too excessively. Ugh. Yeah that's my con. The con I KNEW would be.… (more)
