Amigo Brothers by Thomas Piri

i like this book because it shows 2 friends having to fight (boxing ) but they don't like it. SO when they fight the one with longer reach wins. again he wins. but then they fight but no one falls and they don't here the bell. the people in the crowd fears they will fight to the death. But then they relise that they both are champions to each other.

Down These Mean Streets by Piri Thomas

Its a very good book however, if you have already read "Manchild in the promised land" by Claude Brown do, not read this book. You might feel as I did in that you might find you're just reading a Latino version.
