I'm told it's for fans of [b:Children of Time|25499718|Children of Time (Children of Time, #1)|Adrian Tchaikovsky|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1431014197l/25499718._SY75_.jpg|45276208], but shorter and perhaps more educational about the ants we actually do live with. Sounds good!

p. 79 dnf. Reminded me too much of the Bees, but not nearly as engaging. I should've liked all the sciencey stuff; after all, I usually do, but I just couldn't get into it - in part because, as others report, the people stuff was distracting and seemingly pointless. Skimmed a bit at the end and it didn't look like it was going to go anywhere more interesting to me.
