For classic adventuring literature. This includes books by Robert E Howard, HP Lovecraft, Clark Ashton Smith, Lord Dunsany, Edgar Rice Burroughs, HG Wells, Jules Vernes, and others of that era. Pulp writers also welcome. If it's scifi and it's "newer" than an Alfred Bester book, it's a no go! Authors heavily inspired by the above and their ilk, such as Gardner Fox (1970s novels) also permitted.
