Cutter, reloaded
This group has become officially dormant. It happens. If you want to revive this group, or create a new group on the same topic, see this page.
Down with Dewey. LibraryThing is now ready to create a free, open-source, modern, crowdsourced replacement for that peculiar, trademarked, copyrighted fossil that is the Dewey Decimal System®.
This group started some time ago in an attempt to bring back the DDC's rival, the Cutter Classification. (See Cutter Classification, Reloaded). That didn't take off, but a totally new system looks increasingly doable and attractive.
