The Checquy is a secretive government organization that combats the supernatural and unnatural forces that threaten Great Britain. The first book follows Myfanwy Thomas, The Rook, as she sets out to discover who wanted her killed. In the process, an enemy organization known as The Grafters rears its head. The second book follows teenage Odette Leliefeld as she assists the delegation negotiating the complex details of the peace agreement between the Grafters and the Checguy group. Myfawny has a prominent role as well.
