I have amassed a large collection of jazz books as can be viewed on this site.

I have been a jazz fan since my early teens in Cleveland, Ohio, where I spent an inordinate amount of time in listening booths at the back of downtown record shops. After a three year stint in the army, I attended Ohio State University and the University of Buffalo. Upon graduating with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, I began my first career in international satellite communications.

Many years later, I discovered my true calling when I became a writer of children's books, notably Bebop Babies. My first titles for adults, Ellington at the White House 1969, and Prisoner Chaser, were released in 2013.
