Her Dad remarries and they have twin boys (1), Willie and Daniel. Will gets sick so Dr. Simon Corbett. Dr. and Copper court (1), Copper &Simon so happy. She learns to go on his Dr.trips with him to help. He teaches her to birth babies. Simon takes a horse in trade for services. Trying to train it (1), Roberta (Bobbie) Bradford returns to town to take May Taylor's place at the store. She & Jeff and they finally marry to the delight of all. Riggs & Kaitlin have a daughter (1), it throws him and he hits his head on a rock. 2 days after (1), Simon dies at 28. Copper grieves so long she delivers their Daughter (1), Lilly Gray. Copper sells the big house and she and Lilly Gray move back to Troublesome Falls. (1), After 1-1/2 years (1), and moving back to her beloved mountains (1), Copper settles into a good life. She & lifelong friend (1), John Pelfrey become close and plan to marry. Ending leaves us hanging though (1), Gretchen. Marcail & Sean live with their Sister's family. Marc loves it. Sean in an angry (1), The Taylor family runs the Mercantils store. After being gone for 5 years being humiliated in school because she wore glasses (1), Book One (1), A Great Book. Stand alone. 2 Sisters (1), but worth the read. (1), Kaitlin (1), Very good but some parts hard to read as heartbreaking. Gave me a real look at what my 5 Uncles went through. Very well written book. (Seth from Book #2.) Good story. (1), Sean & Marcail are 3 Missionary kids who grew up in Hawaii. Their Mother's illness brings the family to Aunt Maureen's in San Francisco. The Mom died & Father went back to Hawaii. Kaitlin found an ad for a school teacher in Santa Rosa. She (1), Not as good as first two books. (1)
