- About My Library
The Franklin United Methodist Community is located at 1070 West Jefferson Street. It was founded by the Indiana Methodist Conference. In 1954 the architect's plans were accepted, and ground was broken for the central building on March 6, 1955. In the Autumn of 2017 Franklin United Methodist Community joined the Otterbein SeniorLife of Ohio, a non-profit 501(c)(3) health and human service organization which began in 1912. Volunteers are supervised by the Cottagers Council Committee. Our collection is comprised of books donated by residents and their families. Photo courtesy of resident Linda Hoopes.
