Eclectic! A bit from here, some from there, fiction, non-fiction, genre fiction, literature, children's literature, and my current fav, banned books!

I am a life long reader who has raised 2 lifelong readers and is now working on (successfully) my 4 grandchildren to also share our passion for reading. My library card was and is one of my most valuable possessions. I even have and MLS! Although I have never gone as far as to wear my hair in a bun:-)

I live in Maryland with my husband and our dog. I was - until very recently - a university professor in public policy and studied information law and government information management. I received my doctorate from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University (Go Orange!).

After 27 years in academia, and many years before that in social work, I have recently retired (May 2010). So far, so good!

I love to garden, be outside, travel, and get to the mountains. And spend as much time as possible with my grandchildren - a wonderful blessing in my life.
