About My Library

Lots of space science, history, leadership, management, and a bit of sci fi (for good measure). I occasionally wander into the classics and get lost.

About Me

I am an astronautical engineer, scuba instructor, and college professor with a passion for integrating technology into education. My teaching expertise, like my book collection, is eclectic. Both cover a wide range of subjects, including astronomy, English, management, leadership, math, national security, space operations, and history.

About My Book Reviews

I read extensively and a few years ago began documenting how the books I read relate to my own experiences and interests. My reviews are more like summaries, focusing on key takeaways rather than critiques of the author’s work. If you're looking for traditional critiques, my reviews might not be what you expect—feel free to skip them if that’s the case.

I tend to focus on the positive aspects of the books I review because I read primarily for pleasure. If a book doesn't captivate, entertain, or interest me, I don't finish it, and therefore, I don't review it. Additionally, for much of the non-fiction I read, I provide key point summaries, highlighting passages and noting their relevance to contemporary issues.

Feel free to explore my reviews for insights, key points, and reflections on how these books might apply to today’s world.
