Membermoschick

Not much to say...born in a trendy city in northern Germany, but grew up in a conservative village in southern Germany; like most German middle class males (Bildungsbuerger) l spent my twenties with the shenanigans of national service and a lengthy unguided tour through a variety of universities in small and not so small cities across Germany and Europe increasingly despairing over my eclectic subject mix (social history of the late Roman republic, peasant rebellions in medieval Germany, Nietzsche's concept of history, Adorno's negative dialectic, Simmel's definition of a city....) The thirties were spent with moving to a large metropolis in western Europe, climbing the career ladder in a tv production company and eventually producing many episodes about the police fighting crime and keeping the the society safe by arresting drunk people outside night clubs. Now in my forties I've decided to return to university and add to my mix of eclectic studies a master in Information Science.
