Mugglenet.com's first published book, along the lines of Galadriel Water's Ultimate Guide to Harry Potter. The experts at Mugglenet.com, one of whom spoke to Jo Rowling, predict what would happen in Deathly Hallows (bookwas published prior to the title's release). A funny book with insights into how the greatest literary epic would end- although there was a slight problem with a prediction: Dobby dies, yet Mugglenet gave him 100:1 odds that he wouldn't die. But hey, you can't be right on everything, even the experts! ( )

The caretakers of mugglenet.com put forth their hypotheses as to what will happen in book 7. They support their predictions by documenting what has happened in previous books. It seems pretty thorough and their predictions quite reasonable; how many times did they reread the volumes??? Ultimately, of course, it comes down to this: Harry will triumph and Voldemort will die.

Another reasonably enjoyable speculation on the end of the Harry Potter series. This one is more pragmatic and tends to be driven by interviews with J. K. Rowling more than story arc or plot components. While I disagree with some of their assertions (that is, I disagree that some things they assert as fact have been demonstrated to be facts), I largely agree with their logic and the conclusions they derive. This is a very quick read, so you have time to take care of it before midnight this Saturday when the last Harry Potter novel is published. They make a good case related to the locket and how it was retrieved; I won't say more than that. ( )

Interesting, but it didn't really give any new arguments that one can't gain for oneself by reading the books. ( )

This resulted from my obsession of anything Harry Potter (I'm an obsessive kind of girl--to which a lot of people can attest to), coupled with the time that I just cannot wait for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" to be published.

Early last year, as anticipation of the final Harry Potter book intensifies, a debate is raging among fans about what’s in store for Harry and the rest of the gang at Hogwart's. In this book, the experts at MuggleNet.com present a wide range of hard facts and bold predictions about the most popular storylines, favorite characters, and final outcome of the Harry Potter saga.

This book was created by the avid members of Mugglenet.com. Rowling could not ask for better fans. This book is the result of such fannish enthusiasm and it's accessible, compulsively readable, and provides detailed looks at some of the topics Mugglenet has hashed out online.

Drawing on their intimate knowledge of the previous six books, as well as tips and suggestions made by millions of MuggleNet.com fans (not to mention a personal interview with J.K. Rowling), the authors offer answers to the burning questions of Harry Potter readers everywhere: Will Hogwart's School be open for Harry’s final year and will Harry even be in attendance? Will Harry’s quest for the remaining Horcruxes be rewarded? Where do Severus Snape’s true loyalties lie? And, most importantly, will Harry survive the final battle with Lord Voldemort?

This debunks a lot of one's preconceived concepts about how the series will end and brings up a slew of theories that you wouldn't've thought of! Topics this book explores include Dumbledore (is he really dead, or isn't he?), life debts (how is the life debt that Wormtail owes to Harry going to come into play?), the identity of R.A.B. (they deduced the same thing I had, and thats that the identity of R.A.B is none other than Regulus Black, Sirius's younger brother), questions surrounding the Horcruxes, Professor Snape (good or evil?), and so much more!

There is even a section that discusses each character in relation to their odds of living or dying in "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" -- each character receives a well-thought out statistic as far as what are the odds that they will not survive through the last book in the Harry Potter book series, and then a short but detailed reason is given for that character's score. Why would they be a prime _target, or perhaps, why wouldn't they be a prime _target.

A most interesting read. If you can manage to wait to read Harry Potter 7 until after you've read the speculations that are given in this book DO. Masterfully written, giving both sides of each argument. It was equally interesting to go back through the book with Deathly Hallows and jot down which theories were correct and which were not. ( )

I found this interesting and a good review. While I don't obsess, I am interested in the outcome of the series. (IMHO, Snape is a good guy, and Dumbledore is not dead!) ( )

This book has some good points, but I don't support all of them. ( )

I loved the book, even though many of the things mentioned had already been discussed to death by the MuggleCasters, and I did disagree with a lot of what was said (Snape being good, implications of something between Lily & Snape, etc), but overall, it was a good read. It was very well written, especially considering that it was written by teenagers for the most part. The bits of humor that were sprinkled throughout the book were amusing. Well done, MuggleNetters, and just a few more months of waiting till we see how many of those predictions come true! ( )

The Mugglenet crew takes on almost every unanswered question in the Harry Potter series in this preview of what *might* happen in Book 7. You may not agree with all their conclusions but, with quotes from the books and from interviews with the author, they always make a compelling case. This book also serves as a nice overview of the previous 6 books and brings together in one place the clues and themes that JK Rowling carries from one book to another.

HP fans love to speculate and will find much to agree with and argue about in this book!

Surprisingly well written, by the way. ( )

This book covers everything that the editors of Mugglenet.com believe is going to happen in HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HOLLOWS. It is literally a book of well thought out predictions. If you are a HUGE Harry Potter fan, like I am, then you should definitely read this!

Everything that needs to be explained in the 7th book is here in WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN HARRY POTTER 7. From who they think is going to die, who falls in love, if Dumbledore is really dead, if Harry is a Horcrux, to what percent chance the main characters have of living. There is not one thing that is not questioned -- even if the Mirror of Erised comes back!

I had a lot of fun reading and theorizing with this book. If you, like me, have a long-running debate with someone about if Harry is a Horcrux or not, read this book! Totally fun! I will have this book nearby when I finally get to read the seventh book to see how good the predictions are! ( )
