An absolutely lovely book, full of eye candy of various Classic Penguin covers and the (brief) stories behind the designs as told by editors and cover designers. The only problem I have with this book is that I want even more of their editions, especially the beautiful Drop Cap editions. ( )

An absolutely lovely book, full of eye candy of various Classic Penguin covers and the (brief) stories behind the designs as told by editors and cover designers. The only problem I have with this book is that I want even more of their editions, especially the beautiful Drop Cap editions. ( )

This is a wonderful collection of several of the different series that Penguin puts out. Each selection is talked about by the artist or series editor, and some include original sketches. Just looking at all of the covers makes you want to go start collecting.
