Loading... Salinger's Letters (edition 2015)by Nils Schou (Author)I'm always confused about ratings because really, there shouldn't be any. It's the same as grades at school. Perhaps you're extremely creative and can compose beautiful music but you're poor at math so you don't get into the arts academy. Point is, I picked this book up at an Australian library. How it made it here, I'm not sure. I've given it two stars but that's because I'm being nice. I wonder how he got the praise for the book from Paul Alexander, did that author actually read it? Nils Schou is a Danish writer, I thought to give it a go because Denmark, having lived there, has got a lot of very talented writers. I don't know what this was about really. Nothing moved inside of me. The two stars are for the effort. For the hours he would have spent writing it. It's well edited and all. Nothing wrong there. The story is just... Well what is the story? I can't recommend picking this up unfortunately, unless you want to check for yourself. Of course, we're all different. |
