An interesting walk through the history of Amazon through the eyes and pen of Jeff Bezos. ( )

Its okey, but so many pages is repeating the same message! You only need to read the first 40 pages to grasp the entire book (about 10-15% of the book). So if you want a good book about building a company from scratch - read Petter Stordalen. If you want to read about how to tackle the future - read Bill or Melinda Gates ( )

I got a new and great appreciation for Jeff and Amazon. The most important point I got is that Jeff is totally committed to customer satisfaction and that he believe that is a never ending challenge. He is both smart and incredibly focused - both characteristics he has had his entire life. Perhaps Walter Isaacson is right and Bezos is our Da Vinci. ( )

Always been a fan of Bezos. I was JUST starting to read the annual letters on AZ site, then noticed this book published with all of them, plus Isaacson intro and another section with Bezos' writing and speeches.

Reading the letters in order really tells THE story of Amazon. Many great ideas and history of AZ here, but the chapter on Blue Origin was by far the most interesting for me, with quite a bit of info I didn't realize. ( )
