Leo Frankowski remains with the possible exception of a few prewar author's the most sexist in SF. Normally his books have enough going on to make them interesting anyway. His stories about a Polish engineer marooned in the middle ages.were fun.
but this one that provides the back story for them is just pointless people you dont care about do things you dont care about and suceed because having time travel they have ensured that they will succed before they start. ( )
