Ok, I've fallen under Clanton's spell. I know it's surprising that I like this, but omg it's so funny. And wise. And adorable. Jellyfish reminds me a fair bit of my 21 yo (youngest) son, especially some of his expressions. I bet boys, and girls, and stoners, and philosophical sophomores all love this.

Are you real? Prove it!

This book is about a narwhal that meets a jellyfish, and they become friends. Would be good for around 3rd grade has a decent number of words and discusses friendship topics in a fun way. ( )

Such a charming series!

This is extremely silly and fun. It starts on a kind of philosophical note (how can you tell you're not imaginary?) but then turns into a completely lighthearted, frothy, funny romp. ( )

Waffles are amazing! Also are you dreaming of the narwhal or are you a dream of the narwhal dreaming of the narwhal? ( )

I was excited about this book when I first found out about it, and it certainly did not disappoint! Narwhal and Jelly and their friends are AWESOME. The whole book is hilarious, I love the style of the illustrations -- this book is just perfect. It's like Elephant-and-Piggie level friendship, only MORE AWESOME. And I didn't think that was possible. ( )

For a kids comic book, this is actually rather truly delightful. I loved the little friendship, the high quality of support for children's imagination, reading and the learning of new facts. Also of building for yourself, with your friends, that which you might be missing in your life. I definitely know some tiny people in my life who might need this next year after release. ( )

I just loved the sense of humor in this one. It's a little bit like the Elephant and Piggie books. Jelly is the straight man and Narwhal is the enthusiastic ball of sunshine. I love their friendship and the puns sprinkled throughout the book. ( )

This book follows the adventures of a Narwhal and along the way he runs into a couple friends such as a jellyfish. This is a playful book for kids that highlights the importance of being yourself. ( )

This is such a sweet series! It is a graphic novel series with simple illustration style, about a little Narwhal who meets other sea creatures. Ben Clanton also includes some facts about the Narwhal and is bestie, the Jellyfish. Such a fun little series, perfect for young readers that are interesting in the ocean and are starting to begin as readers. ( )

This is a super cute graphic novel about the friendship between a narwhal and his jellyfish friend. The style of the book reminds me of the pig and elephant stories and the frog and toad books. It is simple to read and is very funny and is enjoyable for children to read. The characters are very lovable and easy to connect with. This would be best for late primary students. ( )

True story. I only want this book because of the drawing on the front and because of this song. From Mr Weebl I think...

Children's graphic novel (2nd grade and up).
These cute graphic short stories will make the kids ask for more. And adding waffles totally does make everything better. ( )
