An excellent blend of two of my favourite subjects--the American Founding Fathers and the Classical tradition. I would highly recommend this book to people interested in either subject. The author does a superb job of demonstrating the Classical tradition in which the Founders were steeped and by which they were influenced. If you're looking to understand better the roots of American ideology, read this book. ( )
