The book is from 2008 and it shows. Telling women you can't go bare legged in the summer if you have varicose veins? Screw that noise! However, the colour and shape of clothes tips are still useful. Was worth the scan. ( )

While this another one of the color me beauty/fashion books it is geared to a segment of the population that is often ignored when it comes to beauty advice. Nice to know that someone realizes that not everyone who want to look nice is a twenty or thirty something. And age issues aren't all about wrinkles either - sags and bags are in all kinds of new places and one's coloring also changes. Great advice spanning the spectrum to even include what type of glasses look best. Highly recommended for anyone 40+ who wants to learn how to deal with a changing body but doesn't want to give up on looking fabulous. ( )
