In a nutshell, kind of boring. ( )

Always love Lynda Barry, though I’m not sure I loved this one as much. Maybe it’s me getting older. Great cartoons about being middle-school age and dealing with the cruelties of the everyday life that is inflicted on children esp not in wealthy families. Of course, very dated, these cartoons were drawn in the 80s and I suspect reflect experiences from the early 70s. ( )

Note: I accessed a digital review copy of this book through Edelweiss.
