Beatles1964 2013 Category Challenge

Every year I join these Book Challenges and every year I fail to even come close to even reading the required number of books to meet the year's challenge. So far this year I have read 59 books which is a brand new personal all-time record high for me. Hopefully by the end of the year I'll finish with over 70 books read & maybe even possibly at least 75 books read for 2012. If anyone had told me at the beginning of this year that I'd read this many books. I'd thought they were crazy. Since I read 52 books in 2010 which had been my previous record for most books read in a single year. My personal goal for 2012 was to have been able to break my record of 52 books in a year. I never figured that I'd even have a shot at 70 or 75 books for the entire year. I thought that I'd probably wind up in the neighbour hood of right about were I am right now, 55-60 books. I didn't figure on reading more than 60 books.

So I guess that one of these days I'll actually be able to read over 150 or more on a yearly average. I don't think I'll be able to read 169 books in 2013 but if I can keep improving on my personal record each & every year I should eventually get there sooner or later. Right now, I think I'd settle for 100 or more books read in 2013. Even if I don't read a 169 books it will still have been an awful good year for me. I hope that 2013 is my best year ever.
