Hi! I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we talk about the books we are currently reading.

I'm reading Keri Arthur's second in the Riley series ~ Kissing Sin. It's a good read, but I think so far (halfway through) I liked the first in the series, Full Moon Rising more.

Anyone else read any books in this series about a mixed breed werewolf with some vampire blood?

Nope I haven't read any of that series though I've read some books kinda like it 8)

Right now I'm busy digging through a bunch of books that aren't paranormal at all 8(

Oh, yes, I'm all over the genre map most of the time too, MEM. In fact, right now I'm reading Kissing Sin and The Cold Moon, a mystery/thriller by Jeffery Deaver, as well as When We Were Orphans by Kazuo Ishiguro, which is a literary mystery of sorts. Next up on my TBR pile is the first book of The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher about a wizard who is also a private investigator in an alternate-universe, modern-day Chicago. ;D

I read the first book in the Keri Arthur series but I couldn't really get into it.

Right now I'm reading The Trouble with Magic and Blood Ties Book Three: Ashes to Ashes by Jennifer Armintrout.

I love the Dresden files too, I haven't had a chance to get my hands on White Night yet.

I'm saving first book of The Dresden Files for a trip I'm making on Thursday ~ flying from L.A. to Charlotte, NC on a redeye, with a stopover in Las Vegas. I figure that will keep me sweet no matter how trying the experience gets. :)

Started Fortune's Fool by Mercedes Lackey last night and am really enjoying it. In fact, I didn't want to put it down and stayed up way past my bedtime, though I knew I'd suffer for it today at work, to read "just one more chapter" which ended up being about 5 more. :D It's the best of the three books of the Five Hundred Kingdom series, so far!

Right now I'm kinda reading three different books. John Sanford's new Prey novel, a little book on Harry Potter my mom gave me and a P.N. Elrod book called The Vampire FIles: Song in the Dark. Elrod is a new author for me so if anyone has any praise or insults for him/her feel free to mention it 8)

#7 I only read the first P.N. Elrod book in the Vampire Files series but I remember that I liked it a lot. Don't know why I haven't followed up and read more, but it is somewhere on my TBR list.

#8 There was like eight different hardbacks of the series on the shelf at the Library so I told myself if it wasn't at least kinda good they wouldn't have put so many in hardbacks...hehehe not a very scientific way of finding good books but it does work really well!

I'm not reading anything supernatural at the moment, but I have loaned two of my collection to a friend - Bitten and Stolen by Kelley Armstrong - hoping for yet another convert to Kelley Armstrong's writing!

I have read all of Keri Arthur's books and have here latest on order from Amazon so that I get it as soon as it is published.

I just finished Personal Demon by Kelley Armstrong and enjoyed it very much. Next on the list was Killer Secrets which is the new one by Lora Leigh. So far it is just OK but I'm only 84 pages into it. I hope it gets better.

Hello all,
New to this particular group. I love paranormal romance books as well as other genres. I have read Keri Arthur series and in fact on the latest one, Embraced by Darkness.
For a different twist you may want to look at Odd Thomas or Forever Odd by Dean Koontz Odd talks to dead people.
Christine Feehan is one of my favorite writers in this genre, as well as Laurell K. Hamilton and Brenda Joyce.
I look forward to discussing books with y'all and hope to pick up on some authors or book titles that i have missed.

Hi, sbrush ~ welcome. I just finished Embraced by Darkness and liked it best of all of them. When you've finished, maybe you can share what you thought.

I'm reading Nalini Singh "Mine to Possess" someone on LT recommended the series and I purchased #4 instead of #1 but this was the title that was mentioned. I've only read 41 pages and I just ordered the first three books. It involves psy, sentinels, changelings and humans quite a combination.

A selection(Clay Bennett is a powerful DarkRiver sentinel, but he grew up in the slums with his human mother, never knowing his changeling father.)
