I stumbled onto this challenge group just days after telling my local librarian that I thought it might be interesting to look up all the past winners and read them. It feels like destiny! Except... no one's posted here in nearly a year. :(
I'm hoping my post will kick-start this group back to reading. Anyone? Anyone...?

I was just looking at the sidebar list of groups I've joined, and realized I'd forgotten about this one for several years. Oops. I've still been reading the recent winners, and a few more of the older ones, too.

I also want to read all the medal winners and honor books. I was hoping this group would have an electronic list that would be easy to use for keeping track. It would also be awesome if this list were "searchable" by title, author, etc. Of course, each year it needs to be updated because new books are added.

You could use this list:
http://www.librarything.com/list/244/all/Best-Newbery-Medal-Winners
Or you can copy and paste the titles into a post, which is what I did.

It looks like everyone's gone, but I'm going to join anyway and start doing my own Newbery list reading.

>5 Connie-D: I'm still around, I just rarely remember to post on my Newbery challenge thread. Thanks to you, I went over and updated mine just now!
