I'll be reading Ovid's Metamorphoses for the first time and would like to hear your recommendations on a good translation. I will be reading just for enjoyment and not scholarship. Thanks!

I liked the Charles Martin translation, which is done in English blank verse and reads very naturally. But I haven’t compared it to others very seriously. My review is here: https://www.librarything.com/work/3439/reviews/163339636

>1 L.Bloom: When I did my classics degree we used the 'Metamorphoses: A New Verse Translation' by David Raeburn. I have read other translations but found Raeburn's a wonderful translation.
