Hi everyone,
I recently had a Folio Society order poorly packaged that came with a few bumped up editions. They have graciously sent me replacements for the 4 books with very minor damage, but now I have 4 duplicate titles. I'd be interested to swap with someone else in Canada (I'm in BC) in a similar situation for any Folio title I do not already have in my collection (I prefer fiction and children's fiction). They wouldn't let me pick other titles instead of the replacements with the same ones (which was annoying as these are still in great shape to read, "very good" as per Abebooks quality standards I would say) and my local library is too picky about donations, so I want to find them a home with someone who will love them! I'm thinking we would each just cover the postage to send the title(s) to the other person.
The titles I have to swap are:
1) Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
2) The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
3) Life, The Universe and Everything by Douglas Adams
4) Mostly Harmless by Douglas Adams
