This sounds like so much fun. I finished one book on 1/1/2010. Does that count???

It sure does. You can do whatever you want. I think most of us post everything we finish in a particular year. Welcome!

Thanks! In that case my first book is:

Sworn to Silence by Linda Castillo

I loved this mystery set in Amish Country. A serial killer is back after a 16 year absence and Kate Burkholder, the chief of police, must face her past to catch a killer.

Had to run over here to see what a librarian considers 'crap' and whether I would love to read it too :D.

I just had a look at your profile and it lists your favorite authors as Jim Butcher, Meg Cabot and Janet Evanovich. I hereby bow to you. It's so comforting to meet another librarian that doesn't focus on "worthy literature"! As if Harry Dresden, Suzannah Simon and Stephanie Plum are somehow inferior and don't teach us useful things!

#10: I learn something from Grandma Mazur every time I read one of the Stephanie Plum books :)

I hadn't heard of The Demon's Librarian, but now I'm psyched like a fanboy. Thanks for the recommendation!

Book 67 -- Better Late Than Never by Marilyn Kaye

Second book in the Gifted series of young adult books. As much fun as the first one. Excellent for tweens.

Book 68 -- Scent To Her Grave by India Ink

Disappointing start to the Bath and Body Mystery series. Did not like the heroine at all.

book 69 -- Hell Week by Rosemary Clement-Moore

I really enjoyed this second book in the series. Maggie is in college and rushing sororities to uncover all the dirt. What she finds is the evil sorority of all evil sororities, and they want her.

Book 72 -- Blonde with a Wand by Vicki Lewis Thompson

A little disappointed with this one. Cute premise but more down and dirty sex than I like.
