- Description:
- Starkville Public Library serves as headquarters library for the Starkville-Oktibbeha County Public Library System and is located in the community of Starkville, Mississippi, home of Mississippi State University. The library is an integral part of the community, offering not only books and reading materials, but art exhibits, community collection displays, programs and cultural events for all ages. The Library has a great selection of fiction and bestsellers. We have a waiting list for many of these books, be sure and ask at circulation to have a hold placed on them for you. If we do not have the book you are looking for here, we will gladly borrow it from another library for you.

Tuesdays at 4 pm Children's Librarian Laura Foxworth meets with a group of Upper Elementary students for food, activities, and a discussion of the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
