The story seems well structured despite the number of characters. It is basically a revision of an older collection of stories called "The Squadrion Supreme". It features Marvel variations of Superman (hyperion), Batman (nighthawk), Green Lantern (doctor prysm), and a few others. ( ) During the Carter administration, an alien space craft crashes on earth ... with a foundling inside. Carter gives the order that begins the top secret Hyperion Project: "It's the law of this country that children orphaned without next of kin are to be wards of the state.
