Suitable for the ages of about 1 to 4, this wordless picture book introduces children to 5 colors and 6 types of animals. The illustrations are bright, simple and effective, showing a different colored butterfly fly past each of the animals. I think children will enjoy "Colors", as the pictures are quite cute and being a wordless book, it gives children a chance to incorporate their own imagination into the story. As well as this the fact that "Colors" is a board book is practical for young children to handle, as it's very sturdy. The book is also small in size, so it's easy for children to hold.
