Just like the Demonica series, she introduced new, strong, HOT men and kickass women who know how to handle these half angel half demon men. Plus she included characters we love from the other series and updated us on their lives. This book made realize how much I missed the Demonica series and Ione's storylines and writing style. Cannot wait til the next in the series comes out!!! ( ) Eternal Rider Lords of Deliverance, Book 1 I Picked Up This Book Because: Readers on the River author who’s not actually going to be at Readers on the River. Media Type: Audiobook Source: BC Public Library Dates Read: 8/14/23 - 8/17/23 Stars: 3.5 Stars Narrator(s): Hillary Huber The Characters: Ares (War): Cara Thornhart: The Story: This is a well written highly detailed world. My moody inner reader was unfortunately not in the mood. I was zoning out fairly often but I did enjoy Ares and Cara's relationship. I wish I knew more about the other characters in the book but that will come when I read the original series. The Random Thoughts: In this sixth book of the Demonica series, we switch over to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Eros, or War is after his brother, who has gone from being one of the good guys to Pestilence, and trying to plague humanity. He’s also trying to protect Kara, who has been marked by a fallen Angel and has all sorts of people after her! I thought the introduction of the Four Horsemen was a cool change in the series, and we still get to see Idolin and the Sem brother gang pop in from time to time. This book incorporates lots of animals, including hell-hounds, which was really cute. All in all, a great continuation of the series! Please excuse typos/name misspellings. Entered on screen reader. I found the heroine irritating, and it wasn't quite as good as I wanted it to be, but it entertained me and was an easy read. The relationship didn't quite feel like a love match, but also not really a 'fated mates' sort, so kind of in the middle, and I didn't find it as compelling as I might have. Not too shabby though. no reviews | add a review

Yet there is one last hope. Gifted in a way other humans can't-or won't-understand, Cara Thornhart is the key to both this Horseman's safety and his doom.
