I listened to this audiobook with my 10 year old daughter and my 6 year old grandson. All three of us absolutely loved it. There was enough story to keep my 10 year old interested, but my 6 year old was fully involved, asking questions, guessing what was going to happen before it did. The author read the stories and does it very well. Each story last about 50 minutes and is divided into 10 chapters. The entire audiobook has 8 of those books in it. I highly recommend it for both boys and girls in the 5 to 12 year old age group. The stories involve problem solving mysteries which stretch over several adventures in the books. ( )

The individual stories themselves are fun for kids, but very formulaic. I do like how the overarching story progressed through the books. ( )

I loved reading this series. I would always read it whenever a new book comes out.

Annie and Jack really have some fun adventures and I liked listening to it on CD versus reading the books. These CD's were books 1-8.
