It also gives information about what their nest are used for and how the nest keeps them safe. It describes how a bird lives it life day to day and how they survive. I learned information about birds that as a adult didn't even know. Birds don't use their nest for only sleeping and holding their babies. The nest are used for many different reasons. Without their nest, birds would not be able to survive. In the classroom, I could use this book to explain about how birds survive in the world. The students could refer back to this book for information as we study the bird more deeply. An assignment could be made where the students would have to observe how a birds lives and how they use their nest in different ways. This book could be used for a science lesson to help the students get involved with each other and life. no reviews | add a review
