It's been four years since I read Vol. 2, so I was a little lost at first, but I slowly got back up to speed on all the people who surround the weird lizard man who is searching for the sorcerer who stole his human head.

It doesn't really matter though, since the story is sort of low priority compared to the exuberant art, the quirkiness of the characters, and all the violence.

And my local library doesn't have Vol. 4, so now it may be another four years before I get to read another.

Yeah, my critic-brain just shut off for this series. The drawings are cool, the story is cool, the action is cool, everything is just so cool that I can't bring myself to analyze and critique it. If you already love this series like I have, chances are there's no going back. ( )
