Great book, great series. This one may be the best of them. I know people complain that his facts are not well researched, but the writing is crisp and compelling. ( )

I enjoyed this first adventure of symbologist Robert Langdon in Vatican City and Rome. With the unexpected and sudden flight to the CERN hadron collider and his subsequent travel to Rome to find a dangerous item, the story kept my interest throughout. ( )

Angels & Demons is a captivating thriller that showcases Dan Brown's unique blend of history, art, and suspense. Brown's meticulous research and detailed descriptions transport readers through the fascinating world of Vatican City, weaving historical intrigue with a fast-paced, action-driven narrative.

The book excels in creating vivid settings and intricate puzzles that keep readers guessing until the very end. However, some might find the pace relentless, occasionally sacrificing character depth for the thrill of the chase. Despite this, Angels & Demons is an exhilarating read for anyone who enjoys high-stakes mysteries with intellectual twists. ( )

Romance, religion, science, murder, mysticism, architecture, action. Go!

Pitting scientific terrorists against the cardinals of Vatican City, this well-plotted if over-the-top thriller is crammed with Vatican intrigue and high-tech drama... Though its premises strain credulity, Brown's tale is laced with twists and shocks that keep the reader wired right up to the last revelation.
