Some wearable and attractive patterns: I would like to make the cardigan (cropped -- takes less wool!), maybe the fair isle tam, and the dachshund toy/pencil case. There are practical and cute slippers. My husband likes some of the warm head & neck things -- there's a hood that combines a hat and cowl, which could be worn under a parka or hard hat. And then there's the tights... very, very nice, but oh the amount of work... and the knitted shorts (would those look good on anybody? at all?). Overall, the book is a keeper!

Update, 2021: But in the end I didn’t actually keep it. ( )
