( ) So this is really the Authority, but I think way back they started off as Stormwatch and maybe there's some kind of copyright thing going on where they can't call it the Authority? Either way, I love the Authority and this Stormwatch did a pretty good job at keeping up with the insanity that usually comes with these characters. I did see a review about a reboot 20 issues in or something, but I'll just try to enjoy what's happening for now. This book was surprisingly not that bad. Most of the team books have been pretty bad in the New 52 era, but this one was at least somewhat enjoyable. Being that there were a minimal amount of new characters, and I was already familiar with Martian Manhunter, it made it really easy for me to get into the story unlike a lot of the other teams I've read so far. no reviews | add a review
As a part of the acclaimed DC Comics-The New 52 event of September 2011, Stormwatch returns, but this time to the DC Universe! Jack Hawksmoor, Midnighter, Apollo, The Engineer and Martian Manhunter comprise a dangerous super human police force whose existence is kept secret from the world. Collected here, this covert team of sci-fi Super Heroes must not only battle the Earth's moon, but find a way to hide its monstrous metamorphosis from the rest of the Earth!.
