I want to scream at my book (and at Mara)....
I want to tell her "Stop looking at all the pretty things around you!!! They are a distraction!!!! LOOK RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE"
I want to scream (totally horror movie style) "DON'T OPEN THAT DOOR!! DON'T DO IT!!! DON'T DO IT!!!"
Ugh, I can already tell I need the third book...
*** Okay, I've finished book 2.
And I really really really am getting frustrated.I think this is my biggest annoyance with trilogies...or series... At some point, I need a win. I need a win in Mara's corner. I need her to get something, to win something. At some point, if the bad guys ALWAYS win, it's no fun.
there better be a win in her court in the next book, or I give up. (
