{phantom} - {my thoughts} - Sita has an interesting daughter. She discovers that she is pregnant and she has a little girl. She also goes through a spat where she is seeing things that are not really there due to her mind playing tricks on her. Aside from that there are also instances in which she questions what she is doing and why she is doing it but it all comes down to instinct and survival. It makes me sad to realize that it was all just a book and not really a story that Seymour wrote a book and it ended… I know all good books and series come to an end but this one shouldn’t have ended here – however it did give the readers closure. I am happy to know that Pike continued the series even though he had ended it many years before.

{evil thirst} - {my thoughts} - This book seemed a little out there for me. I guess I can say what can you really expect. It introduces aliens into the series. As if vampires being reincarnated and living to do as they wish weren’t bad enough at this point. The fact of the matter is I think this book sort of sucked!

Sita - She chases after her daughter believing that it is her sole duty to protect Paula’s baby from her. She allows her hard headedness to get into the way of her being able to think clearly and in the end she nearly costs the lives of many individuals.

Seymour - He helps Sita track down Kalika when they attend a function about Sita’s old friend Suzama. It seems that they have found the key to the current problem by attending this function.

Kalika - She has a desire to get to Paula’s baby before anyone else and almost succeeds.

Paula/ Suzama - She apparently is a very powerful individual.

Dr. Seter – Is one of the individuals that had founded the group of people that had hosted the function about Suzama.

James/ Ory - He is an evil alien. His race wants the baby for all the wrong reasons. It is difficult to get the baby back from him but Sita does and she saves the baby’s life while ending James.

{creatures of forever} - {my thoughts} - This book was a nice ending to the tale of {The Last Vampire}. I liked this ending. I enjoyed it. I am utterly surprised that Pike decided to continue writing the series given that he had already ended it so nicely.

Sita - She decides that it is up to her to make things right. In her mind she doesn’t allow Yaksha to be born. She kills him in the womb. She makes it so she can remain human and live out her live with her husband and her daughter.

Seymour - It is discovered that he is really dying from aids and that he is really a writer. And that we were reading books he had written up until this point. That Sita wasn’t what we had come to believe she was.

Yaksha - Sita ended his life before it had began therefore he is no longer important.

Krishna - Stops to see Sita and asks if she is happy. At which point she replies she is and he leaves her. ( )

I Loved the ending of this book. ( )

Ok there were plenty of parts during this one that had me confused at times. But still it intrigued me completely that it took all of my time or most of it when I had a free time to read. Sita, with her powers and gifts of love she's been given, I think is still selfish in some ways. Granted her whole life has been one huge adventure after another, and death after death. But she has also done good in her life. Met a whole line of wonderful friends along the way whether she has lost them or not. Her mark on the world was pretty huge for her to go back and erase everything. Oh well, guess will have to see what the next book holds. ( )

Book description
Tears roll over my face. I touch them with my quivering tongue. They are clear and salty, not dark and bloody. Another sign that I am human.

What Alisa has desired for five thousand years has finally come true: She is once again human. But now she is defenseless, vulnerable, and, for the first time in centuries, emotional. As she attempts to reconcile her actions as a vampire with her new connection to humanity, she begins to understand the weight of lifeand-death decisions. Can Alisa resolve her past and build a new identity, or is she doomed to repeat her fatal mistakes?
