A zany trip zillions of miles *beyond* merely jumping over the moon, including an encounter with zickens & zigs on the farm of the zork. One could be generous and say that the book gives a good lesson in not making assumptions about ppl unlike oneself, or one could just enjoy the silliness. When I was looking for Hutchins in the library I saw a bunch by Hurd. I was hoping for somethings more like [b:Hurry Hurry|8139989|Hurry Hurry|Edith Thacher Hurd|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1414170932s/8139989.jpg|12936437] by [a:Edith Thacher Hurd|2978048|Edith Thacher Hurd|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] and [a:Clement Hurd|18480|Clement Hurd|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png], but it doesn't seem like I got it. This science fiction book tells the story of a cow that was kidnapped by an alien cowboy. The cow is forced to be a part of an alien rodeo. The cow bucks the alien cowboy off. The cowboy then returns the cow back to earth. I would use this book in kindergarden, because the vocabulary is very basic. I could use this book during a unit on farm animals. A cow gets abducted by aliens to perform in an alien rodeo. The cow is frightened at first, but then decideds to show his true colors and performs a rodeo stunt so massive he scares his abductors who return th ecow back to Earth on his farm. This book is an example of science fiction, but I did not enjoy it very much... The cow was abducted by aliens to be a part of the intergalactic rodeo, and the book was just random. There was no structure to the book and seemingly not a good plot, and it was hard to follow and understand what was going on. no reviews | add a review

Summary- This book was about a cow and his farmer and the cow ended up going into space and flying around and the farmer wanted his cow back. His cow was named moo cow and he would Kaboom into a lot of stuff and then fly back into space where he would float or do weird things. He was dancing around and then would buck people of his back.
Review- this book was pretty funny but I think the story wasn't that great overall. I think that it was interesting how it had to do with outer space and I guess I could have this book in my class just for an example of science fiction.
