This story is about four of the couples from the Nights in Bliss, Colorado and Texas Sirens stories: Stef and Jen; Aidan, Lexi and Lucas; Rafe, Cam and Laura; Leo, Wolf and Shelley. It is also the wedding of Leo, Wolf and Shelley. The whole group from Texas has come to Bliss to celebrate the union of the Meyer brothers and Shelley McNarama. In the week leading up to the wedding we get a look into the lives of so many of the people that all those that have followed both series have come to love, well almost all. A few like Seth, Logan and Georgia and Kitten are just mentioned but we know that everyone is in on the event of the decade. Through the entire book the four couples work out the problems that all married people to seem to struggle with I guess. They have lost their way in the worries and struggles of living day to day. They have forgotten that they are stronger together than they are apart. Life is a gamble and nothing is ever going to be perfect all the time. There are ups and downs and the unit has to find a way to stay together. It is a hard lesson for all these people but they come through with shining colors and they are stronger for the struggle.

Stef is worried sick that he is going to lose Jennifer when they baby is born. They had a scare a few months back and he has pulled away thinking that Jennifer is too fragile to handle the Master that he really is. Jennifer thinks the Stef finds her body unattractive and is feeling like she is losing the man that she loves. While both these people get lots of good advice from those around them they aren't really listening. It takes a jolt from the problems of others to make these two realize that they are being silly and need to find their way back to the love that brought them together. Jennifer also gives birth to their first child in this story and it is both funny and endearing.

Aidan, Lexi and Lucas are also at a cross roads and it takes almost losing each other to make them realize that they need to share their problems instead of trying to take care of everything themselves. They do work it out but in takes the intervention of Abby with Lexi and for Trev to convince Aidan that he needs to let Lexi and Lucas invest in the ranch. Trev finally get through to Aidan that the ranch is Lucas and Lexi's home as well and they would be happier if they were helping with the upkeep. It is a long and weary tale until everyone finally comes together and begins to communicate with each other.

Rafe is having a crisis of faith. He hasn't been able to find a job and with a child to help support he is thinking of taking a job with a company in Miami. Rafe's other problem is his mother. He told her what was going on with Cam and Laura and she just doesn't or won’t understand the relationship. She is also mad that Sierra Rose isn't of Rafe's blood. Rafe has always been close to his mother and he is a little lost without her. It takes the death of Hiram, the mayor of Bliss, to show Rafe that family is what you make it. Family doesn't have to be relatives it can be the people that you chose. That is one of the great things about Bliss is that they community is a family. They all watch out and support each other. It was wonderful to see Rafe find his purpose without leaving Bliss.

Finally there is the wedding that we have been reading about in the last few books. Leo, Wolf and Shelley are finally getting married and dealing with Cassidy, Wolf and Leo’s mother. Shelley has to confront the guy’s Dad when he tries to blackmail her. Shelley realizes what Cassidy had to put up with when she was married and finds she has something in common with her mother-in-law. This helps Shelley deal with the crazy woman and her obsession with beets. Shelley also realizes that she and Leo have been denying Wolf something that he needs very badly, children. The wedding is a beautiful and wonderful affair with everyone wishing the happy threesome best wishes on their future.

There is also a chapter on the life of Hiram and his funeral. It is sad and poignant. The man gave up so much when he stayed in Bliss but he also gained so much more. It was wonderful tribute to the man that had brought Bliss together and kept in running through the years.

The last chapter is a wonderful scene between Jack, Sam and Abby. Abby is feeling a little old after the wedding. The kids have become to total focus of the threesomes lives and it hasn't left enough time for them to have the play time that they need to feel complete. Jack takes care of that problem and knows that he is going to have to find the time to keep his subs happy.

This is a wonderful story that needed to be told I think. We get to see so many of the people that I know that I have become a little obsessed with. It is always a treat to Julian Lodge in all his glory. There are a few steamy love scenes in this story but they are the compilation each couple finally working out the problems that have kept them apart. I think this is one of the best books Ms. Oak has written. I loved it and I hope that she will continue to write stories for both these series. ( )
